This will be an exciting trip; from the centre of Moscow we are going to travel to Torrevieja – a nice city in the south of Spain. We already have our touristic visa for travelling to Spain. We got this visa at the Spanish embassy in Moscow;
Address: Ulitsa Bolshaya Nikitskaya 50/8.-Moscow 121069
Telephone: (495) 202 21 61, 202 21 80, 202 26 10 & 202 26 57
From the centre of Moscow we should go to the airport. Moscow has 3 airports but we should go to Domodedovo Airport, which is directly connected with Alicante airport.
You can go from Russia to Spain with two airlines: Siberia Airlines or Transaero Airlines.
Domodedovo Airport is located 34 kilometres to the south of Moscow. The best option for going from Moscow to Domodedovo Airport is to go by Metro to Paveletsky station (Павелецкий вокзал) and take the direct train to the airport.
It will take us about 75 minutes from the centre of Moscow to the airport.
Also we can go to the airport by taxi. I recommend you to negotiate the tariff with the taxi driver before going.
We will fly all over the Europe, in about 5 hours we will be in Spain – at Alicante Airport.
Now it’s time for changing jackets for swimming suits. The first reaction when you go out of a plane in Alicante is always: “It’s so hot here”.
From Alicante Airport to Torrevieja
The fastest option to get to Torrevieja is to take a taxi but it can be expensive – about 50 €.
Other option is to wait for the bus which goes from Alicante Airport directly to Torrevieja and leaves each two hours, the price is about 7 €.
In about one hour we will be in Torrevieja. It took us 8 hours to get to Torrevieja from the centre of Moscow. Now it’s time to enjoy our holidays.
