I guess my story is not very different experience to all those who took the decision to live in another country.
The reasons for taking the final decision and migrate may be multiple. In my case, I followed the steps of my father, who decided to move from Italy to Germany and improve his professional career.
It wasn`t a difficult decision for me because I had the experience of my family and learning Spanish wouldn´t be a problem for me.
I was on holidays in the Spanish coast when I was 14 years old, from this moment I was sure that my favorite place to live was Spain.
My adaptation phase was brief; warmth, kindness and generosity of the Spanish people, made it possible.
Since my arrival in 1998 until today I felt like one member of the Spanish community.
I have enriched my knowledge with the Hispanic culture. I have broadened my horizon and I have grown as a person.
For me, Spain meets most important aspects of the phrase” Joie de vivre “, in other words, I am happy of this life.
