The XXII edition of the Open Water Swimming Tabarca – Santa Pola will take place on July 9, 2017. Thousands of swimmers from all parts of Spain and other countries will participate in this trial. It’s one of the best open water swimming in the world. It’s an open water event with 5,900 meters measured in a straight line from the Tabarca Island to Santa Pola. Enjoy one of the best open waters swim in Spain.
The first edition of the Open Water Swimming Tabarca – Santa Pola was celebrated 21 years ago. Actually, there are 3,000 pre-registration per year. However only can participate 1,400 swimmers for security. This swimmers are chosen by lot. The competition is organized by the Alone Swimming Club.
In this edition they have offered 30 solidarity incriptions for the price of 145 euros each one. In which 100 euros will be destinated food bank of Cruz Roja from Santa Pola.

The swimmers will go to the port of Santa Pola at 5,40 p.m. where they will be taken by boat to Tabarca Island.
