The XIII Euromarina Optimist Trophy starts today and will run until next Sunday, January 26. This call has the participation of more than 400 children from 28 countries, which is a source of pride for Euromarina, which once again bets high on sports.
From the early hours of the morning, the participants prepare their boats with enthusiasm so at 11 o’clock, they start the first round of today’s race that sails with northwest wind. The day unfolds without mishaps, sailing at an approximate speed of seven knots.
Once the second round is finished, the participants enjoy a well-deserved rest to regain strength and then continue with the celebrations on this special day. At 6 pm the Welcome Party takes place. Each team presents its participants, who parade following their flag bearers who carry the flags of their respective countries.
The party continues with a wonderful snack of chocolate and donuts, batucada by “Sonora Percussion” and raffles of electric scooters, headphones, accommodation and spa circuits at the fantastic Hotel La Laguna Spa & Golf ****.
